The Heart of My Work
A little about me and the path that brought me here.
My work is rooted in relationship. The relationship we have with ourselves, with the land, and with the unseen threads that connect us.
What follows is how I came to this work and how I walk alongside others within it.
Walking in relationship with the living world

I believe healing begins in relationship —
with ourselves, with the earth, and with the quiet wisdom that is always present when we slow down enough to listen.
My work is not about fixing, changing, or making you into something new.
There is nothing broken here.
It is about remembering.
Remembering your connection, your wholeness, your place within the living world.
My path
My relationship with the natural world began long before I had words for it.
As a child, I felt connection in a way that didn’t need explanation —
through trees, plants, open fields, and the simple joy of being held within something larger than myself.

Over time, like many of us, I drifted away from that connection.
Life became louder, faster, and more demanding.
And that quiet relationship softened into the background.
But it never left.
Through my own experiences of loss and searching and returning,
I found my way back to that connection.
Not as something new, but as something remembered.
How I walk alongside you
I do not see myself as someone who heals you. I walk alongside you.

Creating space to slow down.
To listen.
To feel what is present.
To reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been quiet, hidden, or forgotten.
Whether through work with plants, horses, or the natural world,
this is a space of relationship — not performance.
A space where you are met as you are.
A space to soften, to be witnessed, to explore, to remember.
What guides this work
This work is guided by trust —
in the body, in the earth, in the unseen threads that connect all living things.
It is shaped by experience, continued learning, and deep listening.
Not just to people, but to the plants, the land, the energy, and the subtle ways life communicates when we are willing to be present.

The path I’ve studied
While much of this work has come through lived experience and relationship,
I have also been guided through formal study and training along the way.
I have studied plant medicine through Bastyr University,
deepening my understanding of the medicinal and energetic relationships within the plant world.
I am also a Master Reiki practitioner,
working with subtle energy to support balance, connection, and restoration.

These teachings support and inform my work,
but they do not define it.
The heart of what I offer comes from listening —
to you, to the earth, and to the spaces in between.
A personal note

This is not just something I offer.
Reverence for the beauty that exists in both the seen and the unseen is how I try to live, listen and move through the
world.
This is something I have not only learned,
but something I have lived, forgotten, and found my way back to again.
What follows is a reflection of that remembering.
Ready to begin?
If you feel called to explore this work,
I would be honored to walk alongside you.
There are a few ways to begin.
A Reflection
Have you ever sat and listened to a tree?
What did they say?
Did you accept the wisdom they shared?
If we are all just molecules vibrating at different levels, how can we not hear the stories and wisdom of plants?
Plants have been special to me since I was a child.
I didn’t know their names or how humans used them…
But I knew them as friends.
Friends to climb and nap in.
Flowers to smell and laugh with.
Fields to run through — feeling like the wind as the plants danced around me in joy.
As I grew, I forgot this friendship, consumed by the struggles of life.
Until one day, a tall solitary tree called me back —
a wise eucalyptus in a quiet park.
She invited me to sit.
To listen.
To feel the peace that had always been there within me.
Slowly, I began to remember.
When I lost my dad, life became hard and lonely again.
But this time, my friends were there.
Hawthorn and Motherwort to hold my heart.
Nettles to nourish my body.
Linden to calm my soul.
Angelica reminded me it was okay to feel hollow —
and that I was still whole.
Deeply rooted in the earth,
yet always able to stretch toward the sky.
And Big Leaf Maple wrapped me in an embrace only a grandmother could give —
reminding me to lift my head
and let the love in my heart lead the way.
When you are in relationship with plants,
you are never alone.
They are always there —
ready to share their stories and wisdom,
if you are willing to slow down and listen.
